I think people are spending too much time looking to blame people. The bottom line is that the Rays pitch excellently when they do this type of thing. Our guys have not been able to get anything going. We needed a great game from whomever started, and unfortunately JV just didn't have it today.
We had some bad luck, a bad baserunning decision, and a lot of good pitching by the Rays. We still have a great chance Thursday to do what we need to do, and we can't say we didn't try to do everything we could.

This game is still doable. Longshot, but doable. If not, then I do not believe the Rays will beat Houston Thursday in Houston.
