Apparently, the reach of Yankees fans and media is so long that they can even get a pitcher for the Oakland Athletics to make up vile lies about those mouthy upstart Astros. Fiers' motivation and behavior with this is strange though. Why wait? Why take the ring? I wonder more if somebody else was going to come forward and he wanted to get out ahead of it. If they asterik or void our championship season, I am through with this game.

They won't do anything to the past championship. They'll release some type of statement like "we found evidence and spoke with people that do indicate that the Astros used technology that was against the rules during the 2017 season. It isn't known how much of effect this may have had on the outcomes of games or the season. As a result of these findings, the Houston Astros will be fined $10 million and will forfeit their next two 1st round draft picks. Suspensions to members of the front office and/or the coaching staff at that time may also be explored blah blah blah."
Then moving forward, they'll probably enact more clear-cut rules and stricter punishments for the use of technology. They won't give the championship to the Dodgers or say there was no championship in 2017. Won't happen.
The absolute worse case scenario, in my mind, is a ban to Luhnow.

Mike F'n Fiers plays for OAKLAND So we didn't knock his team out of the postseason, we just kept them from winning the division the last couple years. I know Fiers plays for Oakland, but, what Fiers said isn't all we seem to be dealing with.....I seemed to recall something about an 'anonyous GM" being mentioned........That could very well be the Yankees GM, Cashman.

Fiers didn't depart from the Astros on good terms....He was pulled from the rotation because he was terrible....then, left off the playoff roster for obvious reasons...and then, was not offered a contract. He left with a sour taste in his mouth and I don't believe a damn thing this clown is quoted as saying. He has been effective against most teams since joining the A's except the Astros, who hammered him. He would say most anything to hurt us..Screw Fiers.

I anticipate that the investigation will conclude that the cameras, binoculars, stolen signals... all of it... was obtained for use by Debbie Clemens who was preparing for a photo shoot.

Don't pay any heed to fansites like 12Up. The worst I've seen is Houston Astros True Fans.......they do nothing but post negative stuff about the entire organization. They are not fans.

If anyone believes the Yankees, or fans, are editing the noise into the videos, then you're more delusional than I thought.
Here's an at bat from 2017 from MLB's Official Youtube channel. You can clearly hear the banging of something before the pitches.
1st pitch Curve - audible bang 2nd pitch fast ball - no bang 3rd pitch fast ball - no bang 4th pitch curve - audible bang 5th pitch fast ball - no bang 6th pitch curve - audible bang
There are many more videos out there, and they are ALL from MLB's OFFICIAL web pages. If you honestly believe the Yankees, or their fans, are somehow hacking these sites to add extra noise to incriminate the Astros, then you're actually insane.
The Astros are guilty AF

One thing though.... Things like elaborate stealing is only do-able at home. Before we discuss the joys of cheating, let me remind everyone what our 2017 Home / Away splits though. Home... 48-33 .593 Away... 53-28 .654 If we were cheating, we sure were damn bad at it. My theory for this is based on personal experience. I like to play video games (shooters) and occasionally I run into a professional gamer/streamer. The pro gamer/streamer has a website where you can watch them play. Doing this gives away their in game location which makes it easy for anyone to come head hunt them. It's called stream sniping and is very frowned upon in the gaming community. This doesn't work out very well for me since I now have to focus on two separate screens, and there is a 3-5 second delay between his feed, and actual game play. I usually end up getting dead trying to actively stream snipe. However, when I just focus on the actual game, and ignore his feed, I do much better as I'm more in tune with what's actually happening in front of me. I feel like this could have been the case with the relaying of signals. The players were trying to become so reliant on waiting for the signal, that they took their actual head out of the game. If the signal didn't come through as intended, they now have mere seconds to put their heads back in the game and attempt to decipher what's coming. On the road, they are able to focus on the actual game as they know they have no signals coming through. Basically, the cheating hurt them more than helped, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason we couldn't score more than 4 runs in the last two games of the season. They were too reliant on waiting for a signal.

Absolutely possible. Think about being in the batters box and you know that someone will give you a signal on what pitch is coming. So you wait, and wait, and wait, and you're only thought is "Where is the signal?" It never comes because the catcher put up multiple signs and it couldn't be dechipered quick enough. Now the batter has less time to size up his opponent. The next pitch the batter may have his head in the game not worrying about the signal, but right before the pitch comes, he hears it. He now has to make a quick decision of "do I stick with my own plan?" or "do I take the signal?" But that's just my theory

This is a positive aspect of the scandal. I feel that analytics has taken over the game too much.
