White has a good eye as well. Davis o-2 tonight to drop his average so far in tonights game down to 416. Tough to take.
Here is a question no one has asked, why aren't those two guys up in the bigs.

Here is a question no one has asked, why aren't those two guys up in the bigs. Some theorize that they’re trade bait, which I don’t really buy.

Dereck Rodriguez holding the Grizzlies hitless through 4 innings. Not to jinx him or anything At least some of the Grizzlies have drawn walks.

That was 103 mph off the bat for Stassi. In terms of who hits the ball the hardest on this year's team, Fisher is running away with the lead at 94.8 mph (which in my opinion is one reason they've kept him on the team in spite of the strikeouts - just so much promise there for a big HR breakout). The softest hitter on the AStros is... Justin Verlander at 73. mph . No seriously, it would be Marwin at 85 mph if we take out the pitchers. Stassi slots in between Correa and Marisnick at 89 mph, a bit better than average for the team.

By the way, screw Oakland and that fecking clanking and banging. Hard to believe they allow that crap to go on nonstop at every home game.

Yesterday the A's pen had a light day. Treinen and Trivino each threw around 10 pitches. So if the Astros could force the Atheltics to use 4 or 5 relievers to finish the game, that would be great.
