Giles is no Wagner. But he's no failed Gregerson experiment either. Wagner > Lidge >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Giles > Gregerson The last two are debatable. He's somewhere between good Lidge and bad Lidge.

Good Lidge was better than Wagner. If you could bottle up ‘04 Lidge, no one could hit him at all.

Head case Giles tried to blow it...I have seen all I care to see of Marwin for awhile. For some reason, he has forgotten the approach he had at the plate last year than made him successful and has gone back to swinging at pitches out of the zone like he did in the past.
Good win, but, I don't know what Kalas thought was outstandng about McCullers. He was all over the place and was lucky to get through 6 innings.

I'll take 2 runs in 6 IP against the best team in baseball any game and call that successful. Don't be such a Debbie Downer.

I have never been one to praise mediocrity.......to do as little as we did against a guy with an ERA over 6.00 is not good. Yes, we won the game and that is great. We never do much offensively the first game of a homestand and we didn't do much tonight outside of the Correa home run. Marwin continues to be terrible and needs to sit. Giles is shaky at best once a runner gets on base. He is too much of a head case to be a reliable closer.

Refugee forum experts assured us that Marwin was "the real deal" (despite years of sucking) and that he and Boras would price themselves well beyond the paltry sum that the racist, Jim Crane, could afford.

I don’t know who she is really, but for jokers like me who don’t have cable, hearing her talk on and on about stuff that’s unimportant to me instead of hearing Ford and Sparks call the game is very annoying.

I don't know who that was, but they're wrong. Marwin is an infield version of Marisnick. Good defensively at multiple positions and shows a little power now and then. Shouldn't start other than to give people an off day once a week or so. That's the value for those two players. The more you play them the more their offensive woes shine through. Marwin had a great year last season (as did Marisnick in partial playing time) but neither one of them was going to repeat at the same level. I think they both have value as bench players right now considering they're relatively cheap and versatile, but they aren't starters. And both of them should be let go after the season. They won't be worth the raises or contracts.

Literally 80% of the time, whenever she goes on air, the opposing team scores two or more runs. I have to mute the volume and hope for the best. I think Kalas and Blummer believe in the Brianna Curse too. Once the other team has scored a few runs, they tend to shoo her out of the booth. And then like magic, the final outs are recorded.

Water boarding can’t be worse than being forced to listen to her for 9 innings.

Nobody is going to want to give up good players for a rental of Marwin. Keuchel might get something respectable, but even he'll be limited due to health and pending free agency concerns.

Like the avatar change, Billy D,one of the best gamers for the Stros, my wife had a crush on him. As for Jessica she tries to break the game down too much on an elementary level going into much detail that is not necessary.
