As of today, we could put together a lineup (with players playing in their normal positions even) where every hitter is above-average offensively using OPS+. Our worst hitter would be Gurriel at 101. And that includes Altuve being unavailable.

It should be used to give Brantley, Altuve, Correa, Springer, and Gurriel days off but keeping their bats in the lineup. Maybe even Chirinos if he stays this hot. We never needed a set DH to begin with which is why I never thought we needed to invest the money in someone like Cruz. |

To piggyback on what Tim said, a player like Tyler White shouldn’t be allowed to suck just because the rest of the lineup is amazing. Right now, he has as many home runs as a stuffed animal and can’t outperform a supposedly shitty Tony Kemp.
